Often, what we need this season isn't some flashy trend, but a lightweight yet smooth running platform. Lately, I've been focusing my attention on @NomismaNetwork, specifically their subchain on Chromia. At first glance, it seems ordinary, but upon closer inspection, it handles the data infrastructure incredibly smoothly. This quiet, efficient approach is what allows high-load AI DeFi applications to run smoothly without crashing or network congestion. Before that, I eagerly tested several on chain strategies myself, and I swear it was incredibly frustrating. Normally, if you only swap basic tokens, any chain runs smoothly. But try something crazy, add some complex strategies or real time data updates (live data), and you'll see the difference. The system starts lagging like crazy, gas fees skyrocket, and on top of that, MEV bots are lurking, ready to jump in and steal your tokens. That's when I really understood: DeFi sounds great and the experience is smooth until you actually put real AI into operation. What about you guys? What annoys you the most when AI clashes with DeFi?
